Additional Information

Please note that writing and filing a protective order can take up to a few hours. If you plan on meeting with an advocate to get help filing an order, we recommend you arrive at Bridges to Safety when we open at 8:00am, or as early as possible. Give yourself at least two hours, possibly more, for this process. Feel free to call us ahead of time to determine the wait time for filing an order.

If you want to file an order without the help of an advocate, or are filing a protective order that is unrelated to domestic violence, you can go directly to the Domestic Abuse and Harassment Office located in the Juvenile and Family Justice Center in Room 122. You can reach their office at (651)-266-5130.
